Robert E. Bruce has practiced business law for more than 20 years, serving clients in the gaming, real estate and energy industries. Bob began his career as an energy transactions attorney for Vinson & Elkins and later served as associate general counsel for Station Casinos, where he focused on real estate and financing transactions. More recently, Bob served as corporate counsel for NextEra Energy, Inc. (NYSE:NEE), a Fortune 500 energy company, where he helped launched that company’s Sarbanes-Oxley procedures, and counsel for the Nevada law firm Jones Vargas, where he handled a variety of gaming, real estate and energy transactions for clients. Bob was the founding chairperson of the State Bar of Nevada’s Energy, Utilities and Communications Law Section, and is licensed by the state bars of Nevada and Texas.
