Airway Heights Casino | Spokane Tribe of Indians
The Spokane Tribe of Indians plans to develop a $400 million regional entertainment center (“Airway Heights”) on 145 acres just west of Spokane, Washington. The project, presently planned for two phases, will include a 100,000 sq ft casino space, 2,500 slots, 50 table games, and 10 poker tables. Additionally, the almost 1 million sq ft of total space will include a 300-room hotel, a convention/special events center, four restaurants, multiple bars, a food court, and substantial retail offerings.
In addition, the Spokane Tribe intends to develop a retail shopping and dining complex, including a life-style retail center adjacent to the entertainment center, as well as free-standing, big box retail stores. The Spokane Tribe anticipates that the development and operation of the Airway Heights project will benefit the entire Spokane region through increased employment opportunities for Tribal, non-Tribal Members, and related economic development.
The Tribe has engaged Warner Gaming to oversee the development, design, construction, and ultimately the management of the Airway Heights project. Approval by tribal and federal gaming authorities of the project is pending.
