Spokane Tribe Of Indians

The Spokane Tribe of Indians wishes to develop and own a regional entertainment center (the “Airway Heights Project”), that will include a hotel with an indoor pool and conference center, state-of-the-art casino, several specialty restaurants, quick service dining and a cultural center dedicated to Tribe’s history and traditions. The proposed development will be located on land held in trust by the U.S. Department of the Interior for the benefit of the Tribe. In addition, the Tribe intends to develop a retail shopping and dining complex, including a life-style retail center adjacent to the entertainment center, as well as free-standing, big box retail stores. Through the development and operation of the Airway Heights Project, the Tribe anticipates that the project will benefit the entire Spokane region through increased employment opportunities for Tribal, non-Tribal Members and related economic development. The Tribe is currently seeking approval from the U.S. Department of the Interior for the proposed gaming operation included in the Airway Heights Project.

The Tribe has engaged WG-Airway Heights, LLC (a subsidiary of Warner Gaming) to oversee the development, design, and construction of the Airway Heights Project, and has also signed a management agreement with WG Airway Heights for the project. Approval by tribal and federal gaming authorities for the management agreement is pending.
